The dentist should always be a positive experience, especially dentistry for kids. So for children and adults with dental anxiety, we have gentle sedation available. This helps calm down especially restless, energetic, or anxious kids. It’s especially beneficial for children with special needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) like Aspergers, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.
Sedation dentistry can be simply calming and relaxing, or put patients entirely asleep.
Dr. Steven DeLisle, DDS is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school Dr. DeLisle completed a residency in Dental Anesthesiology at Loma Linda University. While in residency, Steven treated thousands of children and special needs patients under general anesthesia. Since graduating, he has been a champion for special needs patients focusing on helping the most vulnerable receive quality dental care. Dr. DeLisle is also a graduate of Southwestern Law School and is an advocate for Constitutional protected liberties and rights. In his free time, Dr. DeLisle likes to fly-fish and take his husky on hikes.
